Remember--Personal pencil sharpeners are not allowed!
Don't forget--Toys, ipods, electronic games, stuffed animals, candy and gum are not allowed! Cellphones MUST be checked in and left at the main office for the day.
Pencils: Each student needs to have 3 sharp pencils to begin each day. It is the student's responsibility to sharpen these pencils at home as part of homework. However, between 8:30 and 9:15, the class sharpener can be used so that students can be prepared for their day. Students who borrow a pencil need to pay 5 cents to use a teacher's pencil for the day. The pencil must be signed out and returned at the end of the day. If a student does not have money, it can be paid the next day. ALL money goes toward prizes for the prize bin (until February 27, to the Leukemia Society's penny collection campaign at Lewis).
